Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go! If you'd like to delete your Curd Lab account, you can do so using one of the methods below. Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

📋What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Your profile information (name, email, profile picture)
All your recipes and recipe data
All your production batches and batch history
Your ingredient inventory
Photos and media files you've uploaded
Your personal cheese library and preferences
Friend connections and shared content
All settings and preferences

📱Delete from the App

If you're logged in, you can delete your account directly:

Open the Curd Lab app
Go to Settings
Tap on your profile at the top
Select Manage Account
Scroll down and tap Delete Account
Confirm your decision

📧Request Deletion via Email

If you can't access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, please send us a request:

Please include the email address associated with your account. We'll process your request within 30 days.

⏱️Deletion Timeline

In-app deletion: Immediate
Email request: Within 30 days
Backup removal: Up to 90 days for complete removal from all backup systems

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Please make sure to export any recipes or data you want to keep before requesting deletion.

🎯Delete Specific Data (Without Deleting Account)

You don't have to delete your entire account to remove specific data. Here's how to delete individual items:

📖 Delete Recipes

Open the recipe you want to delete → Tap the menu (three dots) → Select "Delete Recipe"

🧀 Delete Batches

Open the batch you want to delete → Tap the menu (three dots) → Select "Delete Batch"

📸 Delete Photos

Open the batch or recipe → Navigate to photos → Tap on a photo → Select "Delete"

📦 Delete Inventory Items

Go to Inventory → Swipe left on the item or tap to open → Select "Delete"

Need to delete multiple items at once?

If you want to delete a large amount of data without deleting your account, email us at [email protected] with the subject "Partial Data Deletion Request" and specify what you'd like removed.

Taking a break: You can simply log out and return anytime
